Is it weird to like meta-rock and hip hop-pop-rap?

i like heavy metal, rock, hard rock and some death metal, but from the other side i like pop-hip hop, rap too. so is it weird to like both of music genres cause from what i see there is a war between metal-rock with hip hop, rap, pop etc... so what do you say and what music do you like most??is there anyone else that likes both ??
