MY daughter turned 2 exactly a month ago and she's now having irrational fears?

For example, she has a Dora toddler bed ( and room) since she loves the show, but she won't sleep in there because she's convinced Swiper the Fox lives in her headboard. Now she's obsessed with this and won't leave my side or even play in her room alone. She loved playing in her room up until this week. I'm concerned about this and know it's "normal", but I'm not sur ehow to deal with this. We stopped her form watching Dora, did thid whole thing where we took a picture of Swiper and put him in an envelope and "mailed him home". Anything we can think of we've tried. Help!
