Do you think this is a good idea for celebrities to give back?

I think most celebrities donate alot of time any money for charitable causes. But I do believe they could do more. If more of them auction some of their personal items like shoes, hats, pants and shirts even jewelry this could help alot of causes. I remember when Britney Spears did this on E-bay sometime ago she made a huge amount for charity. So do you agree this could really help the charities?
