LDL calculation is invalid when the trig is greater than 400mg/dL?

hmm i bet you didnt fast for this test..... LDL=total cholesterol-(trig/5). with that high of a trig number, it is likely the LDL value will not be accurate. trigs can be high because of eating within 12 hrs before the test
