Pains on both sides of my back, above my hips but below my ribs?

feels like an achy pain, more so on the right and just seems to slowly be getting worse. I have definitely got a urine infection at the moment, could it be connected? I haven't done anything strenuous today, but i have been sitting for long periods of time...just want to know?
