Is Cheney pressing his luck?

He is laying the foundation for himself as an object of political attack because he knows the war crimes indictments against him are coming down the pipeline. When they do, he will attempt to obscure the facts to make it seem as if his prosecution is a "partisan witch hunt" which will serve to further polarize the country. It is his agenda, after all, to destroy America.
