Help???? can dentures be fixed at home?

ive had a top plate for a little over a year and now that my gums have shrunk i got what i would call a "stress crack" its very small but annoys the sh!t out of me when i bite down.im looking for something temporary until i can get a higher quality set.maybe an otc product.or am i better off just dealing with it until i get the money? or should i just fix these temps ?
