Why not check out Hotel.com. When I went to London I stayed near Big Ben but I had to browse around. Depending on the district the prices and quality will vary. Make sure to take advantage on days the POUND is high or wait until you are actually in London. I live in Germany right now and I like to get EURO on the economy sometimes because the rates are better....make sure to browse around and see. I stayed 6 days 5 nights in a 4 star hotel and it was 60 pounds a night ($110)....Best of Luck and Happy Holidays
